On September 28th, 2017, Thermo-Kinetics held a 2-hour long information session on the ControlEdge PLC, overviewing various benefits and advantages of the product. Full HART integration via HART Universal I/O and HART-IP, Tight Experion® Integration, and being IIOT ready via OPC UA Protocol were some of the many features that were discussed during the session.
As many of you have heard, Hurricane Harvey hit the United States in August, damaging hundreds of thousands of homes and people, resulting in over $70 million in damages. All of us here at Thermo-Kinetics were devastated to hear about this news, and were more than willing to help in any way we can.
On Thursday May 4, 2017, Thermo-Kinetics participated in the Southern Ontario Process & Automation Show, with a great turnout. We showcased a variety of products including Thermocouples, Portable Thermometers, and RTD’s!
Thermo-Kinetics has recently completed the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) evaluation process, and are proud to say that we have renewed our ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Accreditation until February 28, 2019!
This past February, Thermo-Kinetics and Honeywell representatives held an Experion LX Roadshow in Montreal and Toronto to give partners and customers an opportunity to further understand and get hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion LX Distributed Control Systems.
Calibration and Repair personnel have attended factory training in Santa Clara, CA and Frankfurt, Germany and a large investment has been made in a high-temperature calibration furnace to allow for in-house calibrations of E2T Infrared Thermometers used in the Oil and Gas field, as well as other users of Infrared Thermometers. Previous maximum temperature limit of 1,500°C for infrared calibrations has increased to 2,500°C with the acquisition of the new furnace.
